More photos---->

It is seriously sooooo cold here in Nyc right now!  We have a friend in town from California this week, so we went walking around today and oh my gosh...the wind goes right through you.  I guess three years in los Angeles made me forget what winter can be like! Haha!  I've turned into a wuss!  But I still would MUCH rather be here than in sunny LA.  :) 

I decided to try out my newest purchase tonight, a snoot.  This is the first time I even pulled it out of the box, so bare with me.  I am a first time snoot user!  :)  I want to use this on one of the models I am shooting next weekend, so I need to start practicing this lighting a bit more.  I am sorry that I always end up photographing myself.  I promise I am not some vain person who likes to take a million pictures of herself, haha... I just want to practice all this lighting before I photograph a model or a musician...so that I don't look like a total fool, messing up in the moment.  I promise, soon there will be pictures of real models, and soon I have a bunch of musicians I am going to photograph too!  More variety!  Less of me! :)

Well, here is my first set of pics using a snoot.  The last shot, I had to tweak the snoot a bit, by attaching some kitchen found objects to the snoot, to get the dramatic circle effect.  I was just curious how it would work out.  But I wanted less of a harsh circle theatre look for the other shots.  I love that theatrical look, but not for this...I would like to plan a shoot using that technique in the future.
