LAZY SUNDAY

We had a lazy Sunday here on November 1st.  Me and my husband Brett and our dog Waylon stayed in the apartment most of the day, so at one point I took out the camera just to see what an ISO of 1600 would look like. I have been so curious what happens to a photo with the ISO pushed up high, like a few of you talked about.  The last 2 shots in this set here are with an ISO of 1600, but the first photo is a low ISO.

I decided to apply to The School of Visual Arts to major in Photography.  I went there for 2 years a long time ago, but I had a different major.  I have to hand in a portfolio of 15 to 20 different photo shoots, so I have ALOT of shooting to do in the next 2 months to get in!  I am really so anxious to begin.  My mind is running wild with ideas! This last week I have not had a chance to really shoot, because I am trying to get these ebay listings up with some of the remaining Lullie Vintage stock.  I think it might take me a few months of listings to get rid of my inventory.  This next weekend I am going to Maryland to shoot with Courtney Brooke and I really want to play with some different lighting this week before I leave.  I'll update you guys with new photos soon!  For now, here are some personal photos from my lazy Sunday.

xoxo,
Shae

OMG, I am SO envious! I've looked into taking some photography classes there and hope to have the time in the winter/spring session. It would be so GREAT to be totally immersed in it - you're going to have The Best Time!

I hope you got my email a couple weeks back about collaborating on a shoot, I'm not sure how well this messaging system works.

Also, I wanted to tell you about this workshop next week at Javits - http://www.kelbytraininglive.com/flash-photography-tour.html - I'm definitely going.

yes, high ISO does make photographs terribly grainy. Good in select cases, but usually I prefer the clarity and smoothness of photos like the 1st. it is beautiful work.
i love the look of your dog as well...
