I think that this is one of my favorite posts. The photography is amazing. So do you set up the camera on a self timer or is your hubby taking the photos? How do you do it?

Awww thank you everyone!! :)

Photodiarist: I use a self timer. I have a little hand clicker thinng, which links up with the self timer. So I press it and it takes about 8 seconds or something and then shoots. So, If I am shooting outside and it's dark, I bring my lighting (extension cords---need to look into those units for shooting on location with lights-rentals or something).
And if it is daylight, I have to adjust the ap and f stop and keep going back and forth to check if the lighting is how I want it. This takes me some time...

That's why I think it is going to be much easier and more fun to shoot models. I can cut out this lengthy process of moving out of position to check lighting and cropping all the time!!!

Thanks everyone, glad you like them. :) !

Amazing photos. I just started doing self photography and it is a lot of work! I'm using the self timer on my Canon xsi, but the running back and forth is exhausting. Which remote do you use?

I love the mood of these photos. The first photo looks like it's from a magazine spread. You are stunning! I love how you are reaching the roof of that little house, it totally changes my perception of size and height...like Alice in Wonderland.

Taking your own photos sounds so tedious. I'm barely learning how to do it myself and it's killer!
