INTO THE WOODS

(Vintage 1800's jacket, vintage lace dress, lace cut off stockings, vintage boots, vintage hat)
I came back to Pennsylvania tonight to brighten my moms day while she is sick in bed. I brought along my lights and equipment, because I envisioned a night shoot in the woods behind their house. I set up the lights, and applied a few layers of gel filters on the lights and began to shoot. It took me less time to get the lighting than all the other times! Maybe I am beginning to grasp this a bit, which is exciting.
I wanted the mood to be dark and slightly creepy, but elegant as well. You can't see the makeup in this shot, but I am going to take some more tonight where I will get a tighter shot of the face.
Hope you like these! It took me about an hour to shoot these. I'm going to go shoot some more now, since everyone in the house, including Waylon, is asleep.
P.s. For a bigger version of this photo, check out my brand new flickr page (I took some of the advice you all have been giving and signed up for an account).
Sleep tight Darlings!
xoxo,
Shae
